The Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) Skills Gateway brings together the City Region's universities, colleges, schools, and The Data Lab to provide routes into data or tech careers. It covers basic and key data literacy skills in schools through to advanced postgraduate training across four strands of activity:

• Data Education in Schools

• Data Education in Colleges

• Data Education in Universities

• Data Skills for Work

The DDI Skills Gateway creates opportunities for everyone, covering data skills at all stages, from primary years to adult learning. The DDI Skills Gateway is also helping to develop the data science curriculum and related continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for employability programmes and a wide range of professionals, plus data skills development for people who are excluded or disadvantaged groups, helping to improve inclusion across tech roles.
